Northside Presbyterian Church is called to be a community where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught, shared, and practiced.
Such a community is centered in Jesus Christ, rooted in Scripture, and sent into service
Such a community proclaims that God created the world in love, redeemed the world in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and will consummate the world in the joyous second coming
Such a community declares that all are welcomed, that all are loved and included
Such a community is mindful that unity does not mean uniformity and that differences among people are respected
Such a community supports each other – spiritually, physically, emotionally, and encourages each other to spend time in prayer and devotion
Such a community gathers for worship, fellowship and nurture, but scatters into the larger community bearing witness to the Gospel that it teaches, shares and practices
Such a community intentionally “stands in the gap” between people separated by walls of all sorts because, as Jesus said, “For God so loved the world.”
