Everything we do as an organization and as a community is guided by our PW Purpose, and that includes ministry, resources and relationships. Together we say the PW Purpose at every Circle meeting. The gifts of the Spirit allow us to live into the Purpose in our own, unique ways.
February 2022 PW Update
Fall and early winter are the active months for Northside’s PW mission projects. Last year the quilting group designed, assembled and quilted a Fall Sampler quilt and a Shirt and Ties wall hanging. The ticket sales for these quilts, plus additional donations, raised $1000 for mission projects. The projects include a donation to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and the purchase of sewing machines through the Presbyterian Giving Catalog. Northside’s knitters made 42 winter caps for Newton Child Development Center. These warm caps were given out at the Center’s Christmas party.
